Continuing To Keep Our Customers Safe During The Coronavirus Pandemic
The Hilditch Group continues to operate by staying within Government guidelines.
We have made some changes to our operating conditions to keep staff and customers safe, and adhere to regulations and guidelines.
Here is a brief summary of how we continue to ensure a safe auction process for you:
Please be aware that due to safety restrictions in England, buyers will need to arrange in advance coming to site to view equipment, to bid in person or collect equipment.
When viewing, bidding and collecting equipment, social distancing and the wearing of PPE (masks and gloves) will be strictly maintained.
As always, potential buyers can request condition reports or a live stream video tour of the sale, or a specific lot (subject to capacity).
Collections – We have implemented a number of procedures to eliminate any possible contact between our staff and those in receipt of lots for collection. Please inform us in a timely fashion when you will be arriving to collect your items and make your presence is known at reception on arrival as normal.
- Please pre book collection times so we can schedule the number of collections at a time which we intend to minimise risk and speed up collection process.
- When collecting equipment social distancing and the wearing of face masks is required. Customers can only access the front reception, where they can access the public toilets, with a maximum of 2 at a time.
- No customers will be able to enter the Saleroom/Warehouse to collect, they must wait at a distance of 2 meters in the loading bays.
- Equipment for collection will be left out by the warehouse doors for collection with staff maintaining a safe distance.
We have reduced our late collection storage charges, to assist you in your movement of stock.
We thank you for your cooperation and patience during this time, please contact us with any enquiries.
